7/20/2012 - Lupine Lane 2nd Alarm

On Friday, July 20th, at approximately 4:18am, the Billerica Fire Department received several 911 calls reporting a residential structure fire on Lupine Lane. First arriving companies quickly called for a 2nd Alarm. Companies working on scene included Billerica Engines 5, 1, 2, 3, 4, Billerica Ladder 1, C1, C2, C3, Billerica P-15, an engine from Bedford, and an engine from Chelmsford. Companies from Burlington and Tewksbury covered our town during the fire. All occupants safely evacuated the home prior to our arrival. During operations, 2 firefighters were transported to local hospitals for evaluation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
